Boy commits suicide after being caught with girl
An 18-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide in West Delhi after he was caught in a
compromising position with a teenaged girl by his neighbours, police said on Monday.
Deepak was found hanging at his house in Uttam Nagar on Sunday after he was caught in a compromising position with a 13-year-old girl whom he "wanted to marry", they said.
The boy was alone in the house as his parents had gone to Haryana's Kurushetra to visit his younger brother Ravi who is studying in a boarding school when the incident took place, police said, adding they scolded him and also threatened that they will inform his parents.
The boy was apparently under stress, police said, adding around 8:30 pm, one of his neighbours discovered Deepak hanging. The neighbour informed his sisters who are living nearby.
One of his sisters rushed Deepak to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. A suicide note was recovered from Deepak's possession in which he has purportedly written that he wanted to marry the girl. He also wrote in the note that it was due to his neighbours that he was committing suicide, police said
